About JobSight
Eastern Kentucky's JobSight network serves both sides of the workforce equation, helping employers and job seekers with a variety of services that find jobs for people and people for jobs. JobSight provides more than
a dozen government workforce programs for employers and job seekers--all
in one location, all for free.
For employers, JobSight helps streamline many human resources tasks and offers customized training opportunities. For adults and young people seeking work or training, JobSight provides financial assistance, career guidance, and support. Other programs delivered through JobSight help workers who have been affected by layoffs or plant closings. JobSight links employers with the right employees through its Business Solutions services. Those services include: help with finding, screening and testing job applicants; research on the local labor pool or economy; facilities for interviewing applicants; and help with developing customized or on-the-job training programs for both new and current employees. JobSight services for job seekers include: job placement, career planning, skills assessment, vocational rehabilitation, G.E.D. courses, education and training information, student financial assistance, on-the-job training, assistance for older workers, and unemployment insurance. Each JobSight workforce center includes a Career Resource Center where job seekers can prepare a resume, get information about labor markets and in-demand jobs, access the internet to look for jobs, and use our collection of instructional books and videos on topics that range from successful job interview techniques to time management. All JobSight services are offered at no cost to employers and job seekers. The JobSight partnership of workforce development, employment and training, and business programs and services is administered in 23 eastern Kentucky counties by the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program, Inc.
